Talent Leaders Inc. operates as a licensed international employment agency under Alberta law. This page sets out our statutory obligations, candidate protections, employer commitments, and ethical standards.
Talent Leaders Inc. is a Licensed Employment Agency under the laws of Alberta, Canada - Licence No. 360167, valid until July 31, 2028.
We are licensed by the Government of Alberta to provide National and International Employment Agency Services in accordance with the Employment Agency Business Licensing Regulation and the Consumer Protection Act.
Our licence authorises us to recruit, refer, and place candidates both domestically within Canada and internationally, and to provide associated talent advisory services to Canadian and international employers.
We are subject to ongoing regulatory oversight and are required to maintain our licence in good standing at all times. Proof of licensing is available upon request.
Under Alberta law, an employment agency cannot charge job seekers any fee for finding employment or placement services. This is not simply our policy - it is a statutory obligation under the Employment Agency Business Licensing Regulation.
Employers pay our professional recruitment fees. Candidates pay nothing for job placement, referrals, or recruitment matching.
The Alberta Employment Agency Compliance Standards require all licensed agencies to avoid unfair, deceptive, and misleading practices. Talent Leaders Inc. is committed to upholding these standards in every engagement with candidates and employers.
These standards are enforceable under Alberta's licensing regime. Breaches may result in regulatory action, licence suspension, or cancellation.
Talent Leaders Inc. supports equal employment opportunity. We are committed to conducting all recruitment activities free from discrimination on the basis of race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, or any other ground protected under applicable law.
Candidates are assessed solely on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and legal eligibility to work. Employer clients are expected to uphold the same standards within their hiring practices, and we will not knowingly facilitate discriminatory hiring briefs.
As an organization that collects resumes, identification documents, work permits, and personal information, Talent Leaders Inc. is subject to Alberta's private-sector privacy legislation. We handle all personal data in accordance with applicable law.
For the full policy, see our Data Privacy & Retention Policy.
Talent Leaders Inc. provides recruitment services in full accordance with Alberta legislation and professional recruitment standards. We maintain written service agreements with all employer clients, clearly outlining the scope of recruitment services, responsibilities, fee structures, and terms of engagement.
Written agreements between the agency and employers are a requirement under the licensing framework. We do not commence recruitment assignments without a properly executed agreement in place.
The Employment Agency Business Licensing Regulation requires written agreements with candidates. Our candidate agreements clearly describe the services to be provided, any limitations on those services, contact information for our agency, and confirmation that no placement fees are charged to job seekers.
Where optional advisory services (such as CV writing) are offered for a fee, this is disclosed explicitly and agreed to separately. These are entirely voluntary and distinct from placement services.
Talent Leaders Inc. is not a government immigration authority. Immigration decisions are made solely by the Government of Canada and its designated immigration authorities. Our role is to connect candidates with eligible Canadian employers and to facilitate the employment relationship.
We work in partnership with Whitefield Immigration, a licensed RCIC-certified consultancy, for formal immigration advisory matters. Candidates requiring regulated immigration advice are referred to qualified consultants.
While Alberta legislation does not mandate a published Code of Ethics, we hold ourselves to a standard that exceeds regulatory minimums. These are the principles that govern every engagement.
We act honestly in all dealings with candidates, employers, partners, and regulatory bodies. We do not misrepresent our capabilities, services, or outcomes.
Fees, processes, limitations, and terms are disclosed clearly and in writing before any engagement begins. No hidden charges, no undisclosed arrangements.
Job seekers are never charged for placement. Candidate wellbeing, fair treatment, and informed consent are non-negotiable in every transaction.
Candidate and employer information is handled with strict confidentiality. Personal data is shared only with explicit consent and on a need-to-know basis.
We uphold human rights in recruitment. Discrimination of any kind is prohibited. Candidates are evaluated on merit alone.
We maintain zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, or improper inducements. No payment of any kind is accepted to favour a candidate or employer outside legitimate service fees.
We only undertake assignments within our professional competence. We refer clients to licensed specialists - including RCIC consultants and legal counsel - for matters outside our scope.
We disclose and manage conflicts of interest proactively. We do not act for competing parties in the same assignment without full disclosure and written consent from all parties.
We comply with all applicable Alberta legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act, the Employment Agency Business Licensing Regulation, and applicable privacy and human rights laws.
Fraudulent individuals sometimes impersonate legitimate employment agencies to collect money from job seekers. Talent Leaders Inc. will never ask you to pay for a job.
If you have a concern about our conduct, a potential breach of the Employment Agency Business Licensing Regulation, or any matter relating to our recruitment practices, you may contact us directly. All complaints are treated with confidentiality and responded to within five business days.
